The process for guests from Dietenheim
Many first-time guests from Dietenheim underestimate how uncomplicated a session is. No long preparation, no wet towel, no warm-up phase: you go in dry and come out dry. Here's what the process looks like in detail.
Arrival & briefing
We calmly explain the process and answer all your questions before your first session.
Getting ready
Swimwear, hat, gloves, socks and a face mask – your skin stays dry and free of creams.
3 minutes at -110 °C
Dry cold down to -110 °C, evenly distributed by our eddy-current cooling (Cyclon).
Step out & feel it
Warmth, tingling, freshness: many feel the effect right after the very first session.
-110 °C
03:00 MIN
Good to know
Session lasting 3 minutes of dry cold at -110°C.
The difference: whole-body cryotherapy with eddy-current cooling (Cyclon) that circulates the cold air evenly around the body.
The cold penetrates about 1mm into the skin and stimulates the nerve endings – including the vagus nerve, which runs along the cervical spine, is positively stimulated by the cold.
The stimulus on the skin travels to the brain and can trigger the positive effects.
Dry cold in general triggers the release of adrenaline and the happiness hormone dopamine, as well as corticoids, for regeneration.
Blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol and triglycerides can gradually normalize.
Even after the very first session you feel better, more at ease – a true mood booster. Already inside the cold chamber you can sense something happening in your body, and afterwards you feel reborn – an indescribable tingling on the skin, a feeling of warmth and a wonderful sense of relaxation follow.
You are professionally supervised throughout the session: we discuss your health situation beforehand, explain the process and stay in visual and verbal contact. We recommend 2–3 sessions per week.
Focus: Pain & Joints
Back pain, stiff joints, rheumatic complaints or tension after long working days are among the most common reasons guests from Dietenheim and Alb-Donau-Kreis try whole-body cryotherapy. The dry cold at -110 °C dampens the transmission of pain signals and has an anti-inflammatory effect – without medication, without side effects in the classic sense. Many describe a noticeably lighter body feeling and greater freedom of movement after the session, which, depending on the starting point, can last several hours to days. Important: the cold chamber does not replace medical treatment, it complements it. If you have an existing condition, please talk to your doctor first.

For guests from Dietenheim
Feedback from our guests in Alb-Donau-Kreis falls into four broad areas. We'll discuss which of these matters most to you from Dietenheim before your first session.
With 30 minutes' drive from Dietenheim, allow a small buffer – stepping into the chamber in a rush brings less benefit.
First-time bookers from Dietenheim receive a short checklist by message beforehand. Compared with local cold applications, whole-body cold acts on the entire organism – something guests from Alb-Donau-Kreis often underestimate. After the holidays many from Dietenheim use the chamber as a restart for their own rhythm.
Please note: we cannot promise any cure – every body responds differently to cold therapy. Results also depend on regular sessions of at least 2–3 times a week over a longer period.

Practical tips for Dietenheim
Bundling trips is worthwhile from Dietenheim: many guests combine the session with shopping, a doctor's appointment or training in Memmingen. That way, the 32 km trip becomes not an extra errand but a fixed part of the weekly rhythm.
In winter, the cold chamber is mainly immune and mood training for guests from Dietenheim, while in summer it's a recovery tool after cycling, running and hiking trips. The cold stimulus itself stays identical all year round: -110 °C, dry, three minutes.
Ice bath, cold shower or cold chamber? Water conducts heat roughly 25 times faster than air – an ice bath at 4 °C therefore feels harsher than -110 °C dry air. The key difference for guests from Dietenheim: in the chamber, only the outermost layer of skin is cooled extremely, while the body's core stays warm. That makes the session safe, short and noticeably more pleasant than jumping into the river Iller.
Focus: Immune System
Especially during the damp, cold months in Alb-Donau-Kreis, infections tend to pile up. The short, controlled cold stimulus at -110 °C acts as a training impulse for the body: circulation, blood vessels and the immune system are all challenged, without the body actually cooling down the way it would in an ice bath, because the cold is dry and lasts only three minutes. Many guests from Dietenheim therefore use the chamber as a fixed routine over the winter, often twice a week. The effect builds up over a series; individual sessions are more of an experience than a training stimulus.
Coming after work from Dietenheim, plan realistically around 90 minutes for travel, session and rest.
