The process for guests from Kanzach
Many first-time guests from Kanzach underestimate how uncomplicated a session is. No long preparation, no wet towel, no warm-up phase: you go in dry and come out dry. Here's what the process looks like in detail.
Arrival & briefing
We calmly explain the process and answer all your questions before your first session.
Getting ready
Swimwear, hat, gloves, socks and a face mask – your skin stays dry and free of creams.
3 minutes at -110 °C
Dry cold down to -110 °C, evenly distributed by our eddy-current cooling (Cyclon).
Step out & feel it
Warmth, tingling, freshness: many feel the effect right after the very first session.
-110 °C
03:00 MIN
Good to know
Session lasting 3 minutes of dry cold at -110°C.
The difference: whole-body cryotherapy with eddy-current cooling (Cyclon) that circulates the cold air evenly around the body.
The cold penetrates about 1mm into the skin and stimulates the nerve endings – including the vagus nerve, which runs along the cervical spine, is positively stimulated by the cold.
The stimulus on the skin travels to the brain and can trigger the positive effects.
Dry cold in general triggers the release of adrenaline and the happiness hormone dopamine, as well as corticoids, for regeneration.
Blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol and triglycerides can gradually normalize.
Even after the very first session you feel better, more at ease – a true mood booster. Already inside the cold chamber you can sense something happening in your body, and afterwards you feel reborn – an indescribable tingling on the skin, a feeling of warmth and a wonderful sense of relaxation follow.
You are professionally supervised throughout the session: we discuss your health situation beforehand, explain the process and stay in visual and verbal contact. We recommend 2–3 sessions per week.
Focus: Pain & Joints
Back pain, stiff joints, rheumatic complaints or tension after long working days are among the most common reasons guests from Kanzach and Biberach district try whole-body cryotherapy. The dry cold at -110 °C dampens the transmission of pain signals and has an anti-inflammatory effect – without medication, without side effects in the classic sense. Many describe a noticeably lighter body feeling and greater freedom of movement after the session, which, depending on the starting point, can last several hours to days. Important: the cold chamber does not replace medical treatment, it complements it. If you have an existing condition, please talk to your doctor first.
Guests from Biberach district often come during their lunch break or straight after work. What brings people from Kanzach here is above all recovery after sport and training. During the session one of us stays in visual contact and talks to you through the intercom. Afterwards we recommend movement – a few minutes on the bike or a short walk is enough to get your circulation going again.

About ten minutes early – changing room, short briefing, questions answered.
In the chamber
Up to three minutes, stoppable at any time, always supervised.
Afterwards
Movement, a warm drink and a short chat about how it felt.
Practical tips for Kanzach
Guests travelling from Kanzach usually schedule two fixed appointments a week – often Tuesday and Friday. This rhythm has proven itself: enough stimulus for adaptation, enough spacing for recovery. In intense phases (competition, training camps, acute complaints), three to four sessions a week are also possible.
Whether it's a heatwave or snowfall in Biberach district: the chamber is a constant -110 °C. Especially on hot summer days, guests from Kanzach find the three minutes particularly pleasant.
Ice bath, cold shower or cold chamber? Water conducts heat roughly 25 times faster than air – an ice bath at 4 °C therefore feels harsher than -110 °C dry air. The key difference for guests from Kanzach: in the chamber, only the outermost layer of skin is cooled extremely, while the body's core stays warm. That makes the session safe, short and noticeably more pleasant than jumping into the river Iller.
Focus: Immune System
Especially during the damp, cold months in Biberach district, infections tend to pile up. The short, controlled cold stimulus at -110 °C acts as a training impulse for the body: circulation, blood vessels and the immune system are all challenged, without the body actually cooling down the way it would in an ice bath, because the cold is dry and lasts only three minutes. Many guests from Kanzach therefore use the chamber as a fixed routine over the winter, often twice a week. The effect builds up over a series; individual sessions are more of an experience than a training stimulus.
Coming after work from Kanzach, plan realistically around 132 minutes for travel, session and rest.
