The process for guests from Erkheim
The process is identical for all guests – including those from Erkheim – and deliberately kept simple: arrive, change, a short briefing, three minutes in the chamber, rest afterwards. The technology behind it is a Cyclon eddy-current cooling system that guides dry cold evenly around the body.
Arrival & briefing
We calmly explain the process and answer all your questions before your first session.
Getting ready
Swimwear, hat, gloves, socks and a face mask – your skin stays dry and free of creams.
3 minutes at -110 °C
Dry cold down to -110 °C, evenly distributed by our eddy-current cooling (Cyclon).
Step out & feel it
Warmth, tingling, freshness: many feel the effect right after the very first session.
-110 °C
03:00 MIN
Good to know
Session lasting 3 minutes of dry cold at -110°C.
The difference: whole-body cryotherapy with eddy-current cooling (Cyclon) that circulates the cold air evenly around the body.
The cold penetrates about 1mm into the skin and stimulates the nerve endings – including the vagus nerve, which runs along the cervical spine, is positively stimulated by the cold.
The stimulus on the skin travels to the brain and can trigger the positive effects.
Dry cold in general triggers the release of adrenaline and the happiness hormone dopamine, as well as corticoids, for regeneration.
Blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol and triglycerides can gradually normalize.
Even after the very first session you feel better, more at ease – a true mood booster. Already inside the cold chamber you can sense something happening in your body, and afterwards you feel reborn – an indescribable tingling on the skin, a feeling of warmth and a wonderful sense of relaxation follow.
You are professionally supervised throughout the session: we discuss your health situation beforehand, explain the process and stay in visual and verbal contact. We recommend 2–3 sessions per week.
Focus: Immune System
Especially during the damp, cold months in Unterallgäu district, infections tend to pile up. The short, controlled cold stimulus at -110 °C acts as a training impulse for the body: circulation, blood vessels and the immune system are all challenged, without the body actually cooling down the way it would in an ice bath, because the cold is dry and lasts only three minutes. Many guests from Erkheim therefore use the chamber as a fixed routine over the winter, often twice a week. The effect builds up over a series; individual sessions are more of an experience than a training stimulus.
Many guests from Unterallgäu district combine the appointment with shopping or a doctor's visit in Memmingen. Main focus for guests from Unterallgäu district: Stress relief after the working day. Direkt an der A96 gelegen – ideal, um die Sitzung mit dem Arbeitsweg zu verbinden. Questions about the trip from Erkheim or about appointments? A quick call is enough. From Erkheim the route runs über die A96, Ausfahrt Memmingen-Ost; after 16 minutes and 13 kilometres you're at the door.
The effect lasts hours to days depending on your situation – so fixed weekdays suit guests from Erkheim better than spontaneous visits.
For guests from Erkheim
Whole-body cryotherapy doesn't work on a single spot but on the whole organism. Guests from Erkheim therefore come with very different goals – from post-sport recovery to skin and sleep.
Important for anyone travelling from Erkheim: dry skin, no damp clothing, and no heavy meal before the session.
During the competitive season, active people from Erkheim condense appointments to two or three a week. Booking as a pair from Erkheim gets you two consecutive slots. Unlike a cold shower at home in Erkheim, the chamber reaches a depth the body answers quite differently.
Please note: we cannot promise any cure – every body responds differently to cold therapy. Results also depend on regular sessions of at least 2–3 times a week over a longer period.

You can find all effects in detail on the page Effects – the process is described under How It Works .
Your visit
We schedule every appointment so that you can arrive calmly. On a first visit we take extra time for a short conversation, answer open questions and show you the chamber before you step in. You then decide whether to use the full three minutes.
During the session one of us stays in visual contact and talks to you through the intercom. Afterwards we recommend movement – a few minutes on the bike or a short walk is enough to get your circulation going again.
Arriving
About ten minutes early – changing room, short briefing, questions answered.
In the chamber
Up to three minutes, stoppable at any time, always supervised.
Afterwards
Movement, a warm drink and a short chat about how it felt.

That makes the session safe, short and noticeably more pleasant than jumping into the river Iller.
