You will arrive and be guided through the entire process by our trained staff. You will change into appropriate attire: dry swimwear or shorts, along with protective gloves, socks and footwear, a headband to cover your ears, and a medical mask to warm the air you breathe.

The application itself involves a two-chamber system. First, you will spend about 30 seconds in a pre-chamber set to a less extreme temperature of around -60 °C. This helps your body begin to acclimatise. Then, you step into the main chamber. The cold is intense, but it is a dry, vaporous cold created by our vortex cooling system, which feels very different from a damp winter's day or an ice bath. It is often described as a tingling, prickly sensation on the skin.

You are never alone. A staff member is with you, observing you through a large window and communicating throughout. During the two to three minutes you are inside the main chamber, you will be encouraged to walk slowly in a small circle. The focus is on steady breathing and gentle movement.
