Our system uses a series of three chambers. You will first spend a few seconds in a pre-chamber at a brisk -10 °C, and then move to a second pre-chamber at -60 °C. This gradual acclimatisation prepares your body for the main chamber. The final step is into the main vortex-cooled chamber, which is maintained at -110 °C.

You will stay inside for a very short period, typically between two and three minutes. During this time, you are encouraged to walk around slowly and breathe normally. You are never alone; a trained member of our team monitors you through a window for the entire duration and can communicate with you. The sensation is one of intense, exhilarating cold on the surface of your skin. Many people describe it as a tingling, prickly feeling. Before it can become uncomfortable, your time is up.
