Upon arriving at our studio in Memmingen, you will be welcomed by our trained staff. We will first go through a health questionnaire with you to ensure there are no contraindications that would make the session unsuitable. Your safety is paramount.
You will then change into appropriate attire: a swimsuit or comfortable shorts and, for women, a top. We provide you with dry socks, clogs, gloves, a headband to protect your ears, and a face mask to warm the air you breathe. You should remove all jewellery and ensure your skin is completely dry.
The experience itself is a two-stage process. You will first enter a pre-chamber, typically set to around -60 °C, for about 30 seconds. This helps your body begin to acclimatise to the cold. From there, you will step into the main chamber, which is maintained at a crisp -110 °C using our advanced vortex cooling technology. Inside, you will walk slowly in circles for a short duration, usually between two and three-and-a-half minutes. Our staff will be in constant visual and verbal contact with you from outside the chamber.
The sensation is one of intense, dry cold on the surface of your skin, but it is not a "shivering" or damp cold. Many describe it as invigorating and surprisingly manageable due to the lack of moisture in the air. As the seconds pass, you may feel a tingling sensation.
Once your time is up, you will exit the chamber and return to a normal temperature. Important Considerations and Contraindications

You should not use the cold chamber if you have any of the following:

- A pacemaker
- Peripheral arterial occlusive disease
- Venous thrombosis
