All jewellery and piercings must be removed, and your skin and hair must be completely dry.

The process involves two chambers. You will first spend about 30 seconds in a pre-chamber set to around -60 °C. This allows your body to acclimatise to the cold and for the surface of your skin to dry completely. Then, you will step into the main chamber, where the temperature is a stable -110 °C.
